Doug Sahrbeck is a senior business executive and consultant with broad experience in national security, intelligence, and security planning for federal, state and local governments, and commercial clients. His experience encompasses small disadvantaged, mid-sized, and large, publicly traded companies. Throughout his career, he created and led several startup organizations either from existing assets or from scratch to better position those organizations for larger market share. Clients include the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Energy, Federal Air Marshal Service, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, the FBI, various intelligence agencies, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ World Trade Center Security Master Planning effort.
Mr. Sahrbeck most recently headed a division at a mid-sized company focused on border management and sensors, credential and biometric document management and verification, and sensitive Department of Justice/FBI programs.
Previously, he established a wholly owned subsidiary of an A&E firm to offer high-end security planning and analysis as a logical adjunct to the design and engineering process.
In addition, Mr. Sahrbeck held various leadership positions at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), where he formed and managed the Homeland Security Services division. This involved work on nationally significant programs such as the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Balanced Survivability Assessment Program, the Department of Homeland Security Needs-Based Risk Assessment program, the National Incident Management System Support Center, several programs in support of the White House Military Office, and the World Trade Center Master Security Plan.
He also led national intelligence collection and exploitation programs in support of Combatant Commands and the Joint Special Operations Community.
